Cancer
Insurance
The statistics indicate that one out of two men and
one out of three women in America will have some
type of cancer in their lifetime.  A person over age
fifty will have an eighty percent chance of having
cancer.  Most people think a single disease health
insurance plan is not an economic value.  I believe
the cost of cancer insurance has statistically
become worth the cost of the premium.

Many of the older cancer insurance plans paid
100% for chemo and 100% for radiation.  Many of
the later plans have limited payment for chemo
and radiation.  Cancer treatments have changed
over the years and some plans have become
outdated.  If you own a cancer plan this would be
a good time to examine your coverage.

The total billing for The Lymphoma I had was
around $700,000.00 over two and one half years.  I
will have tests the rest of my life.  You can order
the book I wrote called “The Days of Cancer” from
amazon.com for $9.99.  It is 358 pages and
explains everything I did as I wrote almost every
day.

The process of dealing with cancer certainly
affects your life.  Cancer will also affect your ability
to work and earn a living.  Replacement of this
income is certainly a serious consideration for any
family.  Next time you have a physical, ask for a
cancer related physical.  Many cancers are found
by accident.

My second one was.
